October 2018

This information, pursuant to art. 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 (hereinafter, "Privacy Code") describes the management of this website owned by Salumificio Trascinelli Pietro S.r.l., with reference to the processing of the personal data of users who consult it, and is also pursuant to the requirements of the Measure issued by the Italian Data Protection Agency dated 08.05.2014 "Identification of simplified procedures for information and the acquisition of consent for the use of cookies" (hereinafter, "Measure").
The information is provided only for the site mentioned above and not for other websites or sections/pages/spaces owned by third parties – which may be consulted by the user through appropriate links on the same.

1. TYPE OF DATA PROCESSED AND PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING

1.1. NAVIGATION DATA

The computer systems and applications dedicated to the functioning of this website acquire, during normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This information is not collected with the intent of associating it with identified users but, by its nature, through processing and association with data held by third parties, it could lead to the identification of the users who connect to the website. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users who connect to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) of requested resources, the time of request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file received in reply, the numerical code indicating the status of the reply given by the server (successful, error etc.) and other parameters related to the operating system and computer environment of the user.
These data are processed for the time necessary to achieve the purpose for which they are collected, for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site (access to the same) and to check its regular operation.
The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes detrimental to the site.

1.2. DATA PROVIDED VOLUNTARILY BY THE USER

If users of this site are required to provide their personal data to access certain services, specific and detailed information on the related processing pursuant to art. 13 of the Privacy
Code will be issued in advance in the pages relating to individual services. This will specify the limits, purposes and methods of processing.

1.3. COOKIES

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files which are sent from the website visited by the user to the user's device (usually to the browser) where they are stored so that they are able to recognise the device on the next visit. In fact, on each subsequent visit, cookies are sent back from the user's device to the site.
Each cookie generally contains: the name of the server from which the cookie was sent; the expiration and a value, usually a unique number generated by chance from the computer. The server of the website that transfers the cookie uses this number to recognise you when you return to visit a site or browse from one page to another.
Cookies can be installed not only by the manager of the site visited by the user (first-party cookies) but also by a different site which installs cookies through the first site (third-party cookies) and is able to recognise them. This is because on every website there can be elements (images, maps, sounds, links to web pages in other domains etc.) which are stored on servers other than that of the site visited.
According to their purpose, cookies are divided into technical cookies and profiling cookies.
Technical cookies are used solely to "send a message over an electronic communications network or, to the extent to which it is strictly necessary, by the provider of a service to provide a service which has been explicitly requested by the subscriber or user" (see art. 122, paragraph 1 of the Privacy Code, as amended by Legislative Decree 69/2012). To be specific, these cookies are usually used to allow efficient navigation between pages, to store user preferences (language, country etc.), to make IT authentications, to manage the shopping trolley or to allow online purchases etc. Some of these cookies (called essential or strictly necessary cookies) enable functions without which it would not be possible to carry out certain operations. Pursuant to the aforementioned art. 122, paragraph 1 of the Privacy Code the use of technical cookies does not require user consent.
Cookies known as analytics cookies are assimilated into the technical cookies and used directly by the site manager to collect aggregate information on the number of users and how they visit the site. These cookies allow the owners and/or managers of websites to understand how users interact with the contents of the site for the purpose of its optimisation.
Profiling cookies are used to track the user's navigation, analyse his/her behaviour for marketing purposes and create profiles on his/her tastes, habits, choices etc. in order to send targeted advertising messages which are related to the user's interests and are in line with the preferences shown in online browsing. These cookies can be installed on the user's terminal only if the user has given his/her consent with the simplified procedures indicated in the Measure.
Based on their duration, cookies are divided into persistent, which remain stored on the user's device until their expiration unless removed by the user, and session, which are not stored permanently on the user's device and disappear when the browser is closed.

c. Profiling cookies

Third-party profiling cookies

During navigation on this site, the user may receive profiling cookies on his terminal installed and managed by third parties in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences shown by the user when browsing the net. Where third parties set cookies while visiting this site, they get information about the fact that users have visited it. More information on the use of cookies is available by accessing the link below indicated on the website of the third party. The refusal to consent to the use of third-party profiling cookies does not interfere with the possibility of accessing the site.

The name of the third-party cookies which may be installed by them through the site, their purpose, the name of the third party and the link to the site of the third party are given below.
